Christoph Lohmann 4018b2c507 Making the copy and pasting consistent. The copying and pasting in the terminald and GUI world is flawed. Due to the discussion on the mailinglist it seems that sending '\n' is what GUIs expect and '\r' what terminal applications want. St now implements that behaviour.		2013-04-13 08:48:17 +02:00

st - simple terminal
--------------------
st is a simple virtual terminal emulator for X which sucks less.


Requirements
------------
In order to build st you need the Xlib header files.


Installation
------------
Edit config.mk to match your local setup (st is installed into
the /usr/local namespace by default).

Afterwards enter the following command to build and install st (if
necessary as root):

    make clean install


Running st
----------
If you did not install st with make clean install, you must compile
the st terminfo entry with the following command:

    tic -s st.info
