Eon S. Jeon d60ee7337b Prevent resizing stdin This fixes a bug that the parent tty gets resized whenever you launch st through command line. The problem was that ioctl was resizing cmdfd before it gets initialized in ttynew. Since cmdfd is a global variable, its initial value is 0, and consequently stdin was being resized.		2013-12-18 08:11:22 +01:00

st - simple terminal
--------------------
st is a simple virtual terminal emulator for X which sucks less.


Requirements
------------
In order to build st you need the Xlib header files.


Installation
------------
Edit config.mk to match your local setup (st is installed into
the /usr/local namespace by default).

Afterwards enter the following command to build and install st (if
necessary as root):

    make clean install


Running st
----------
If you did not install st with make clean install, you must compile
the st terminfo entry with the following command:

    tic -s st.info
